This presentation will touch on federal funding streams and the cultural and historical roots of Alabamas chronic and persistent transportation problems. Facilitator: Stephen Stetson, JD, ACPP Policy Analyst, Alabama Arise

Stand In The Gap Now IV-Montgomery

Stand In The Gap IV Conferences starts March 6-8 2015 . We will help parents connect the dots on what is coming through this Nationalized Education (aka Common Core) such as the National Sex Education etc. through one of the most effective researchers in the nation --Dr. Duke Pesta. There will be more links to other locations as we confirm details.

These conferences are about How To Regain Parental Authority In Education By Making Parents Aware of The Many Aspects Of The Common Core Standards Initiative And The Steps To Help Reclaim God-given Parental Authority. Children can not defend themselves. We hope you will stand in the gap so let's start with knowledge. Some of the latest perspective one needs to get is the fact that David Coleman--author of Common Core is now the head of the College Board and has moved to change history. The new AP US History is very unpatriotic and very unAmerican and dishonors the sacrifices of many of our military. The Founding Fathers are left out, along with WWII Heroes and Martin Luther King, Jr. Listen to this inteview to realize the mindset behind the new APUSH and the Common Core.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children...

These are some of the speakers that will be speaking:

Dr. Duke Pesta--He received his M.A. in Renaissance literature from John Carroll University and his Ph.D. in Shakespeare and Renaissance literature from Purdue University. He has taught at major research institutions and small liberal arts colleges, and has been active in educational reform, developing and implementing an elective Bible course that is currently available for public high school students in Texas. He is a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and the Academic Director of FreedomProject Education.

Watch this incredibly insightful video from Dr. Duke Pesta on the National Sexuality Education Standards

Troy Towns is a born-again Christian encouraging others to look hard at what's going on in the world of politics with a Christian perspective-"first"--and to take actions specially for such a time as this. He is a former businessman now known as a Christian motivational speaker who can "bring the house down". He travels across the states wherever asked and helps enable citizens on the sidelines, to become partakers of their privilege in living in this land of opportunity. He wants to preserve "American Exceptionalism" and the "Land of the Free". Troy and his wife Dianne have set their sights on fighting for this nation and their family's future by sharing truths that never fades.

Please sign up for here on EventBrite. There will be no admission charge but please register to reserve
your seat.

There will also be information we will pass along on these conferences in other states so that you can share them. We need your help. America's children is the future of America.

There will also be information we will pass along on these conferences in other states so that you can share them. We need your help. America's children is the future of America.

Here are some of the news reports of past events.

Remember Ben Franklin's admonition
"In this situation of this Assembly, groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the Contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the divine protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend?"

We hope not...

NSBE-MP: First Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser Event

The National Society of Black Engineers Montgomery Professionals (NSBE-MP) will host its First Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser Event at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, AL on Saturday March 21, 2015.This sponsored event will benefit the NSBE-MP Chapter Scholarship and Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Programs. The proceeds from the event will be used to award scholarship(s) to deserving minority high school seniors and/or college students with the intent of pursuing a technical degree from an accredited college or university; and help fund our PCI Program. The PCI Program is designed to stimulate the interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, or STEM. The goal is to encourage students in grades K12 to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Our PCI program provides activities to help students discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development and teamwork. The PCI program helps develop our future through the young people in our community.
